The manufacturing sector is one of the important sectors contributing towards the growth of the Malaysian economy.

This database application serves as an easy and quick reference for companies to review and compare their productivity performance against the performance of the relevant manufacturing sub-sector. Performance status can be compared for different periods such as monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly.

The indicators are generated from data obtained from the Monthly Manufacturing Survey by the Department of Statistics, Malaysia. The indicators presented are in terms of level and growth rate. All figures are reported in nominal terms.

The subsectors are classsified according to the Malaysia Standard Industrial Classification (2000).
