The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) organised a programme, focused on the topic Enhancing Regulatory Impact Analysis Application for Better Regulation, on July 13 in Putrajaya. The main objectives of the programme were to create awareness and consult regulatory coordinators from ministries and agencies on best practice regulation, as well as to provide a platform to share experiences, challenges and key success factors on effective methods to control quantity and quality of regulations with reference to best practices and New Zealand`s experiences. Regulations can impact productivity, either through incentives which they provide to businesses to change operating and investment decisions or their impacts on compliance costs. Read more |
