 Educational Excellence Self-Assessment

The secondary Education Division (SED) of Maktab Rendah Sains MARA has been working with MPC in a number of areas over the past four years. MPC has commenced work on a project with SED to self-assess the quality of processes and service to education in Malaysia.

The participating schools and colleges are engaged in self-assessing performance against the Education Excellence Framework and developing procedures to improve and enhance their performance in achieving identified outcomes. The main purpose is not to grade or rank these schools, but rather to provide careful credible advice and assistance – wherever they may be on the road to higher standards and improved students’ performance.

All the schools and colleges participating in the project are required to conduct self-assessment using the framework as a guide. The self assessment is quick and economical since they are able to do it on-line through online Qualitative Survey for Educational Excellence.
