|  PRESENTATION STREAM Competition Quality circles who wish to compete may register the competition category and presentation will be evaluated based on the set evaluation criteria. The award will be presented based on 3 star, 2 star, 1 star. Showcase Presenter who wishes to present paper may register the non-competition category. The showcase will be held in the Productivity Conference stream of the Annual Productivity & Innovation Conference (APIC) and Exposition 2012 (APIC 2012). Annual Productivity & Innovation Conference (APIC) and Exposition 2012 In conjunction with ICQCC 2012, the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) will organize the Annual Productivity & Innovation Conference (APIC) and Exposition 2012, on 14-17 October in 2012 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Four of MPC pride events will be conducted concurrently at the same time and venue. The four major events are; International Convention on Quality Control Circle (ICQCC), National Innovative Creative Circle Convention (NICC), Quality Environment Convention (QE), Productivity Conference (PC) and Exposition. The theme of APIC 2012 “From Ideas to Reality” corresponds with the gist of the four major events in bringing ideas of improvement and the continuity of development into real and factual. Objectives of this event are: - To showcase best practices and practical applications on productivity and innovation.
- To assist private and public organisations to improve productivity and enhance innovation capabilities.
- To bring together a distinguished group of leading businessman, industrialists, scholars, administrators and productivity expert from all sector of industry
| | WHAT IS ICQCC ? - THE HISTORY The idea of organising the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) began in 1975. During the Korean Control Conference, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Conference proposed that opportunity of exchanging idea and experience on QC Circle activities should be held periodically among the countries for further development of the activities. For this reason, in 1976, the first International Convention on Quality Control Circle was materialised in Seoul and the participating countries were Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Since then, the number of countries and regions attending had increased. The ICQCC 2011 was held in Yokohama, Japan and will be followed by the ICQCC 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, the second convention to be organised in Malaysia. ICQCC 2012 – KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA International Convention on QC Circles is an annual event held in different countries every year with the purpose of celebrating, sharing and recognising outstanding circles from all corners of Asia. Malaysia, for the second time has been honoured with the task of hosting this event from 14 to 17 October, 2012. The event will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, our capital city. Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), the agency responsible for organising this event hereby invites you either as an observer, circle members, or paper presenters to join us in making this event a reality for all.
