Productivity Report 2011/20112 is the 19 th edition published by MPC and provides a comprehensive analysis on productivity performance of key economic sectors. Productivity measurement using the ratio of output to the number of employees has reached 68% of the target level of productivity in 2020. The target level of national productivity for a high income economy by 2020 is RM78,800. If the projected growth is sustained at a rate of more than 4% per annum, the target level of productivity can be achieved by 2020. Malaysia’s productivity performance grew by 4.6% in 2011.
