With globalisation and technological advances companies must be able to respond quickly to changing business conditions including making quick adjustment to wage structure. Wage restructuring is about making wages more flexible and competitive. With a flexible wage system, company can adjust the variable components based on the business conditions. In good times, employees can look forward for bigger bo-nuses and better incentives when both company and employees perform well. In bad times, employees will have greater job security as company can make quick adjustment on wages to avoid retrenchment. PLWS is the way forward for flexible and competitive wage system that ensures job stability and reduces retrench-ment in the event of an economic slowdown. Objectives To create awareness on importance of PLWS – concept and models; To enhance understanding in developing PLWS; To share companies’ best practices on impact, benefits and challenges in developing PLWS. Who should attend Top Management Managers Human Resource Executives; Wage and Salary Department Fee RM450.00 per participant. For SME Companies, the cost will be borne by HRDF incentive. If the company had registered but did not attend this program, the course fee will be deducted from the company`s HRDF fund respectively. For HRDF’s registered companies (SMEs), HRDF will deduct entry fees from company’s HRDF account first and will be credited back into the account after that. For Large or MNC companies, fee can be paid directly to MPC or deducted from the company`s HRDF fund respectively.
