Annual Productivity & Innovation Conference and Exposition (APIC) is a prime event organised by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). APIC brings together two of MPC’s major Team Excellence Convention on Innovative & Creative (ICC) and Quality Environment (QE/5S) which showcases outstanding achievements from the industries.

Innovative and creative group (ICC) is a formation of a group of worker who sit together to investigate, analyse, and find the way to solve the problems regarding their work. Several problem solving tools will be applied such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, Triz, Six Sigma, Kaizen during the implementation of ICC projects and the new 7 QC tool and technique is the common problem solving tool used by the ICC team.

ICC has been practiced in Malaysia for more than two decades and is now part of excellence workplace culture. An ICC activity implies the development of skills, capabilities, confidence and creativity of the people through cumulative process of education, training, work experience and participation which will sustain the motivation and commitment.

The theme “FROM IDEAS TO REALITY” corresponds productivity as the integral component in order to achieve higher production, higher income and hence higher standard of living.

Objectives:

  1. To provide an opportunity for the participants to share and exchange ideas on best practices.
  2. To learn from the ‘Best of the Best’ Circle in achieving continuous improvement;
  3. To provide an opportunity for practitioners in sharing ideas, experiences and achievement towards improvement and seeding the best working culture to increase the organizational performance and productivity;
  4. To inculcate the culture of knowledge-sharing and life-long learning.
