Dato Haji Jefri Ahmad Tambi

Dato Jefri Ahmad Tambi was appointed on 1 February 2023 as a Board Member of Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). An accountant by profession, he is the Group Managing Director of Senari Synergy Group of Companies, which he successfully transformed from a loss-making entity into a profitable and reputable organisation. With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and oil & gas industries, he has held senior roles including CEO of Fibercomm, CEO of Aktel (Bangladesh), and leadership positions in Celcom. Internationally, he pioneered the introduction of cellular services in Bangladesh and contributed to strengthening Malaysia–Bangladesh relations. Recognised as a two-time Productivity Champion by MPC (2017, 2019) and Productivity Leader (2021), his leadership has earned multiple awards such as the Asia Pacific Enterprise Award (2022) and International Quality Crown Awards. His expertise lies in driving business growth, corporate turnarounds, and international ventures.
