Datuk Noraini Soltan
Datuk Noraini Soltan was appointed on 1 January 2022 as a Board Member of the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). She is the Managing Director of Sipro Plastic Industries Sdn. Bhd., a plastic injection company supplying precision components to the automotive, electrical & electronics, and telecommunications industries.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Economics from Universiti Malaya, bringing with her more than three decades of leadership experience in manufacturing and business development.
In the industry and business arena, Datuk Noraini plays an active role through her involvement in key organisations. She is the Vice President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Malaysian Plastic Manufacturers Association (MPMA) and Deputy of President the Perodua Supplier Association (P2SA). These roles reflect her strong commitment to advancing industrial growth and policy advocacy.
Her contributions also extend to the government sector, where she serves as a Committee Member of the Employment Insurance Scheme, Social Security Organisation (PERKESO). In the academic sphere, she has served as Industry Advisor for the Material Technology Programme at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and as a Committee Member at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), underscoring her commitment to bridging academia, research, and industry for national development.
Recognised both nationally and internationally as a leading woman entrepreneur, Datuk Noraini has received numerous awards throughout her career, including the Ernst & Young Woman Entrepreneur of the Year (2008) and the ASEAN Business Award – Woman Entrepreneur Award (2024) in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
