MR. Ng Choo Seong

Mr. Ng Choo Seong was appointed on 1 May 2023 as a Board Member of Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). He is a member of the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC), having previously served as Vice President, Financial Secretary and Deputy Financial Secretary. With over 31 years as General Secretary of the Association of Bank Officers, Peninsular Malaysia (ABOM), he has been a key figure in representing banking industry executives. His leadership extends to international platforms as Titular Member for the Professional Managerial Sector and Finance Sector of UNI-APRO, and as Chairman of UNI-MLC Professional and Managerial Group in Malaysia. He has served as a worker panel member of the Industrial Court since 1998 and the Social Security Appellate Board since 2000, and contributed actively to the National Labour Advisory Council (NLAC) and its Tripartite Committee on labour laws. Recognised for his extensive union work, he has represented Malaysia in numerous international conferences, negotiations, and forums on labour rights and industrial relations.
