Human capital is the main driver of economic growth. Competent talents development is the basis towards resilient and dynamic economy. Talents need to have skill sets and high adaptability that are relevant to the industry. An economy with high productivity growth requires highly skilled talents and the contribution of quality human capital that can improve productivity performance.

In line with the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (2021 - 2025), talent development is focused to realign the labour market for inclusive and sustainable growth. Talent development strategies and initiatives need to be strengthened to increase employment opportunities for Malaysians, achieve more equitable workers' compensation (CE), improve labour force participation rates and strengthen the system that supports the labour market.
