The session welcomed students from France under an international exchange programme, offering them a firsthand look into Malaysia’s efforts to boost national productivity and global trade competitiveness.
The session opened with En. Shaifubahrim Saleh emphasizing the importance of digital transformation for economic growth, followed by Aiman Zakwan from MPC who presented MPC's initiatives to accelerate productivity anchored in Malaysia’s MADANI Economy and MyDIGITAL frameworks.
Puan Sharifah Norashikin from MATRADE provided practical insights on how Malaysian MSMEs are being supported to scale globally through export-readiness and international market access.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion and Q&A, fostering cross-cultural exchange and encouraging students to reflect on global productivity challenges and the role of public-private collaboration in addressing them.

Setelah persetujuan diperoleh, sesi validasi garis panduan bersepadu akan dilaksanakan bagi memuktamadkan garis panduan bersama agensi teknikal yang terlibat. The program, led by Dr. Mohd Nazim bin Jambli, was designed to advance effective business practices and cultivate a culture of integrated productivity. It further aimed to accelerate industrial transformation through the adoption of AI and digital technologies, thereby enhancing business competitiveness, while equipping the workforce with essential skills to leverage technology effectively—driving innovation and strengthening operational efficiency. Through hands-on exposure to AI tools tailored to support the implementation of Proof of Concept (POC) projects, participants were able to explore practical applications, test solutions within their operational environments, and validate outcomes. These initiatives are expected to streamline processes, elevate productivity, and reinforce decision-making capabilities. Looking ahead, the AI for Productivity Transformation Program will continue for 3 more batches in September - October 2025, sustaining momentum to prepare more industries with the knowledge, skills, and technological readiness necessary to thrive in an increasingly competitive, digital-driven economy. #SarawakProductive #AIforProductivityTransformation

The session centered on aligning priorities for PINTAR 2025, particularly in strengthening implementation plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring clear direction towards achieving the programme’s productivity objectives. Moving forward, the project will progress to the next step, which is the Gemba Walk to the confirmed PINTAR companies and the presentation of preliminary reports based on the financial data provided by the respective participants. The session marked strong progress in driving PINTAR’s objectives and setting a clear pathway for the upcoming phase.

The discussion led by AeroPN Champion: Mr. Naguib Mohd Nor have updated to MPC management on efforts to localize the tool, die, and mold (TDM) industry by focusing on enhancing local manufacturing capabilities, which the initiative are primarily targeting the aerospace and medical device sectors Beside that, the discussion agreed to attract more potential financial assistance to support local industries, particularly in advancing tooling capabilities and manufacturing high-value, complex products, to promote productivity and competitiveness.

MEPN conducted an online briefing with LTI Resources Sdn. Bhd. as part of the ongoing Project Pintar initiatives. The session served to introduce the objectives and framework of Project Pintar, while engaging the company in discussions on potential productivity improvement strategies tailored to their operations. This engagement reflects MEPN’s commitment to fostering collaboration with industry players in driving productivity growth and operational excellence within the machinery and equipment (M&E) ecosystem

Satu perbincangan strategik telah diadakan antara MPC dan Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia (DPIM) bagi menilai impak program AI Produktiviti yang sedang dilaksanakan dengan sokongan pemain industri. Sesi ini turut membuka ruang untuk meneroka inisiatif produktiviti lain yang boleh digerakkan bersama, sekali gus memperluas akses industri kepada teknologi serta panduan praktikal bagi mempercepat peningkatan produktiviti industri.
