PSPN | Productive Meeting on Latest Milestones PSPN Consortium for Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) Project MITI
The session was chaired by YBhg. Datuk Hanafi Sakri, Deputy Secretary General (Industry), MITI, and attended by representatives from MPC, MATRADE, and MWZ Consortium Sdn Bhd. The primary objective was to obtain a comprehensive update from MWZ Consortium regarding their current involvement and planned activities for the IKN project.
Ar Mustapha Kamal Zulkarnain, Head of Master Planning Division, provided a detailed briefing on the latest developments and status of the project. At present, MWZ has established a foreign-owned Indonesian entity, PT MWZ Nusantara Madani. Plus, Office of IKN (OIKN) has approved PT MWZ Nusantara Madani’s request for 1,000 hectares of land and has conducted an initial preview of the proposed site location within IKN in March 2025.
In the mean time, the consortium had reached numbers of potential developers and financial institutions to be part of the journey due to its Investor-Ready Structures which provide complete feasibility studies, investment memorandums, ESG due diligence, and capital structuring for scalable and replicable outcomes.
Moving forward, the consortium will expedite the land acquisition process, finalize strategic partnerships with developers and financial institutions, and prepare a detailed project timeline. Regular updates will be shared with MITI, MPC, and MATRADE, alongside conducting further site assessments with OIKN and initiating regulatory and ESG compliance processes.

Facilitated by strategic partner MIMOS Services Sdn Bhd, the program provided participants with hands-on exposure to AI tools designed to support the implementation of Proof of Concepts (POC) Projects, enabling industries to test and validate AI solutions within their operational environment. These tools are expected to help streamline processes, enhance productivity, and strengthen decision-making capabilities. Moving forward, the AI for Productivity Transformation Program Batch 4 is scheduled for September 2025, continuing the momentum to equip more industries with the knowledge, skills, and technology readiness needed to thrive in an increasingly competitive and digital-driven marketplace. #SarawakProductive #AIforProductivity

#SarawakProduktif #MemacuProduktivitiNegara #EODB
