Sesi Pre Assessment BE ini merupakan salah satu aktiviti projek Gap Analysis Business Excellence yang dilaksanakan untuk Unit Transformasi dan Inovasi Sarawak (STIU).   

Penilaian ini akan membantu STIU untuk mengenalpasti peluang penambahbaikan melalui pengurusan organisasi yang akan melonjakkan peningkatan produktiviti Sarawak secara inklusif berasaskan pembuktian dan outcome based. 

Hasil daripada pra penilaian, pihak STIU memperoleh maklumbalas kesediaan serta jurang tahap penyampaian semasa yang memberi ruang untuk penambahbaikan bagi memastikan penyampaian perkhidmatan awam Sarawak di tahap yang cemerlang dan berdaya saing, seterusnya menyumbang kepada kemakmuran bersama.

The Private Healthcare Productivity Nexus (PHPN) Governing Committee Meeting 2025, held today, convened representatives from the Ministry of Economy, MITI, Ministry of Health, MIDA, Assosciation of Private Hospital, Malaysia (APHM) and prominent private healthcare industry experts. Their collective focus centred on the nation's compelling Silver & Care Economy, identified as a pivotal engine for substantial national productivity growth. Discussions illuminated how targeted elder care initiatives are proven catalysts for enhancing national output, optimising workforce participation, and advancing overall economic efficiency. Key strategies explored encompassed long-term care insurance, the elevated professionalisation of the care sector, and groundbreaking Malaysia-Japan collaborations. The imperative next phase involves decisive implementation of these core initiatives, commencing with a pivotal coordination session to ensure seamless execution and maximum discernible national productivity impact.

Projek uji kaji ini dijadualkan bermula pada 1 Ogos 2025 dan akan dilaksanakan di Bahagian Sibu. Sesi ini telah menjadi platform strategik untuk menilai tahap kesiapsiagaan pelaksanaan projek, mengenal pasti potensi integrasi sistem digital secara menyeluruh melalui pelaksanaan sistem sehenti dan penggunaan borang seragam, serta mengumpul maklum balas langsung daripada pelbagai pihak berkepentingan. Antara yang terlibat termasuk agensi pelesenan, pihak berkuasa tempatan, kementerian dan jabatan teknikal yang berkaitan. Inisiatif ini menyasarkan peningkatan penubuhan perniagaan baharu di Sarawak dengan mewujudkan ekosistem yang lebih mesra perniagaan, mengurangkan masa dan kos permulaan, serta meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap perkhidmatan kerajaan. Puan Sharifah Norashikin from MATRADE provided practical insights on how Malaysian MSMEs are being supported to scale globally through export-readiness and international market access. The meeting reinforced the importance of aligning workforce capabilities with Sarawak’s productivity agenda. MPC Sarawak shared key initiatives including the Akademi Dalam Industri (ADI) and AI for Productivity Transformation for Industry program. Both initiatives aim to enhance industrial productivity through in-house talent development and digital adoption. The committee expressed strong support, highlighting sectoral needs for skilled workers in oil and gas as well as data analytics. Members also acknowledged the relevance of these programs to the region's economic direction. Further insights were shared by Sarawak Skills, including the promotion of the Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) program and updates on Smart Home and Smart Solar technology adoption projects. They also presented their involvement in green energy initiatives, particularly in the hydrogen sector, showcasing their commitment to future-ready, sustainable workforce development. The way forward from this meeting includes the implementation of the ADI-SKM programme in SALCRA, as well as the AI for Productivity Transformation Program in collaboration with Sarawak Skills as the designated Technology Centre. #SarawakProductive
