A courtesy visit between the China Association of Automation (CAA) and the Machinery and Engineering Industries Federation (MEIF) was held recently at MPC Kuala Lumpur, marking a positive step towards closer collaboration between the two organisations. The meeting centered around CAA’s key focus areas in automation and digital transformation, with discussions also exploring potential collaboration opportunities with MEIF. Both parties expressed strong aspirations to work together in advancing technological capabilities and promoting industrial growth across the machinery and engineering sectors. The visit laid the groundwork for future partnerships aimed at strengthening industry innovation and productivity.

The recent meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing initiatives under MEPN Working Group 4. A key highlight of the session was the introduction of a new project titled THINK: M&E (Tools for Hands-on Industrial Knowledge).
