AutoPN | Briefing Session with Perodua and Automotive Upstream Companies on A.I. for Productivity Transformation Programme

The online session was organised to equip upstream automotive companies with a clear understanding of the programme framework in preparation for their participation in three upcoming AI training sessions. Each AI class is tailored to different levels of personnel—technicians, supervisors, and data specialists—ensuring relevant and practical learning aligned with their respective roles.

These AI classes aim to cultivate foundational awareness and hands-on exposure to AI technologies, ultimately driving operational efficiency and supporting Malaysia’s broader national competitiveness agenda. By introducing practical use cases such as real-time analytics, predictive maintenance, and automated data collection, the programme fosters a culture of operational excellence and data-driven decision-making across the value chain.

In addition to outlining the training modules, the session also highlighted several key initiatives, including on-the-ground improvement projects and the forthcoming launch of the Digital Roadmap publication. These initiatives are integral to catalysing digital transformation within the automotive sector, enhancing productivity, and ensuring long-term industry resilience in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
